From: Sophereth at Kirjath Sepher
To: those that will be built up into His house…
. why was the temple built? why are you, as the temple of God being built? God told Moses, “build the tabernacle, and I WILL MEET WITH YOU THERE!” He meets with us there and we worship Him. the temple made with hands, and the temple not made with hands. both made for worship.
. when we realize that we are the temple of God, when we worship Him as a priest, when worship is our vocation, our calling, our occupation, when we are Israel, the kingdom of priests, our lives are ordered by a different PATTERN. our lives are ordered by HIS PATTERN. our children are raised in HIS PATTERN. our homes are ordered by HIS PATTERN. HIS schedule. HIS work. the way we lived our lives before He called us to HIS work is over.
. we can call on His Name, anytime day or night and He is always there. we can break forth into spontaneous praise and worship, anytime day or night and He inhabits that praise and worship. we can know that He is always with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
. but I am talking about the priesthood as an occupation. a vocation. a calling.
. I am talking about a life completely given over to Him. no agenda of our own, except to serve Him. to Minister to Him.
. we don’t just run into His presence haphazardly, on a whim. anytime that it’s convenient for us. whenever we choose. whenever we can squeeze Him in between this appointment and that project. between going here and doing that. between this phone call and lunch. it is no longer a matter of if we feel like worshipping Him or if we don’t. no longer a matter of if “the spirit moves us” or if it doesn’t. over here in this new time, this new day, as the kingdom age is dawning, we live our lives, we raise our children, we order our hours, our days, our weeks, our months, our years, our times, according to HIS PATTERN.
. when we came into the church, into the gentile church system, the way we lived our lives before He called us was over. we didn’t run into church haphazardly, on a whim. anytime of the day or night. anytime it was convenient for us. whenever we chose. whenever we could squeeze in a church service between this appointment and that project. between this phone call and lunch. it was not a matter of if we felt like worshipping or not. it wasn’t a matter of if “the spirit moved us” or not. we ordered our lives by that form. our homes were ordered by that form. we arranged our schedule, our work, our housecleaning, our appointments, our projects, by that form. back there in that time, that day, the church age, we raised our children, we ordered our hours, our days, our weeks, our months, our years, our times, according to that form.
. multiplied millions have come out of the church system. they are bantering about without form. they come and go, they do this or that, according to if they feel like it or not. according to “if the spirit moves them” or not. according to whenever somebody is coming to town and sets up a meeting or not. they are raising their children without God’s form. their hours, their days, their weeks, their months, their years, their times, are without God’s form. they came out, but they haven’t known to go in! to GOD’S PATTERN. to GOD”S worship form.
