the beginning. the end. and the in between.

From: Sophereth at Kirjath Sepher

To: those that will hear and believe and do, by faith,

. this morning, I feel the Spirit of the Lord wanting to move on, so I want to tie up some loose ends. it might take 2 or 3 posts.

. I want to give you the scripture references from yesterday’s post, concerning the first day  worship in the beginning, and the 7th day worship at the end.

. Genesis 3:8. (in the beginning. the first day.) and they heard the Lord God walking in the garden in the ‘cool of the day’, and Adam and his wife (because of their sin) hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God…

. evidently, during this time, in Eden. in the beginning. the first day. the Lord God came to fellowship with Adam and Eve. daily. every evening. about the time of the evening sacrifice. about 3:00 pm. (see yesterday’s post about the ‘cool of the day’) the Lord didn’t mention the morning sacrifice during this time.

. Ezekiel 46:13,14,15. KJV and Amplified. (the end day. the 7th day. the last day.) …offer daily to the Lord…you shall prepare and offer it every morning…the priests shall prepare an…offering to go with it every morning…this is a perpetual ordinance for a continual…offering to the Lord. thus shall they prepare and offer…every morning for a continual…offering.

. this scripture is describing the worship of the 7th day house. the last day house. daily. every morning. about the time of the morning sacrifice. about 9:00 am. the Lord didn’t mention the evening sacrifice at this time because there is no evening here in this 7th day.

. Zechariah 14:6,7. KJV and Amplified. and it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark (my KJV margin says: that is, it shall not be clear in some places, and dark in other places of the world): but it shall be one continuous day, which shall be known to the Lord, not day and not night, but at evening time there shall be light.

. in scripture, in every age, every time, every day in between the beginning day and the last day, in every age, every time, every day that there is morning and evening, day and night, the worship is morning and evening. continual. perpetual.

. the pattern is always the same, always daily. wherever there is day and night, wherever there is morning and evening, there is the morning and evening sacrifice. one pattern. OT and NT. old covenant and new covenant. jewish temple and gentile ekklesia. all of Israel. one body. one new man. one pattern of worship. daily. day and night. morning and evening.

. who knew?!?
