Revelation 2.

From: Sophereth at Kirjath Sepher

To: those that follow Him whithersoever…

. we are making our way right now, through the first 3 chapters of the book of Revelation. these chapters were written about and for the ‘church age’.

. that age is now over.

. it has ended with Laodicia. neither hot nor cold. lukewarm. saying: I am rich and increased with goods, and have need of nothing. not knowing they are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. the Love of God and the love of money do not, will not, mix. you cannot serve God and money. no man can serve 2 masters: he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. you cannot serve God and money.

. many came out. many didn’t. I leave that with God now.

. a new day, and new age, the kingdom age, is dawning. right now. right here as it gets darker and darker. as nation rises against nation.

. this age is different. this kingdom age holds within itself the Eternal, perpetual, worship pattern that God showed to Moses in the mount.

. we can walk in the Eternal now. the throne bearers will live and move and have their being in the Eternal now. we can live in the Eternal now, in the midst of the temporal.

. fear not, little flock. it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you this day, this age, this kingdom.

. what I want to show you in these first 3 chapters is: HE is the rock of ALL ages! He changes not! there is no variableness nor shadow of turning in Him! HE is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

. He is still and always who He says that He is. and He is worthy to be worshiped.

. this book of the Revelation shows that like no other.

. as we look in to chapter 2, we see that our Saviour is still talking. telling of Himself and who He is. He is also warning and correcting Ephesus and Pergamos and Thyatira. giving space for them to repent, telling them the result if they would not repent. the result is that  He removes the candlestick out of his place, and fights against them with the sword of His mouth. He casts Jezebel into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation. He encourages Smyrna. He tells the rewards of overcoming.

. He says that He holds the 7 stars in His right hand, it is He that walks in the midst of the 7 golden candlesticks. He calls Himself the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive. It is He that has the sharp sword with 2 edges.

. in your quiet time alone with Him today, would you repeat His words about Himself, back to Him? would you agree with Him about who HE is today?

. in worship?
