Arise, O Lord, into thy resting place…

From: Sophereth at Kirjath Sepher

To: the temple of God.

To: the city of God.

To: the dwelling place of God.

To: the resting place of God.

. as Ephesians 5 tells us of the one flesh relationship of a husband and wife, Paul says that he is speaking of Messiah and the ekklesia. he says that this is a great mystery.

. unto His disciples it is given to know the mystery.

. the mystery is this:

. oneness.

. whether we realize it or not, whether we understand it or not, whether we have been taught that this is our drive, our need, or not,

. we still have the longing within us to be one again, to be whole again, to be complete again,

. with the One in whose image we were made,

. with the One Who breathed the breath of Life into us and caused us to live,

. with the One who gave His Life for us, saved us by His blood, and healed us by His stripes. with the One who took the chastisement of our peace for us, and provided for us and caused us to live, with the One Who is our resting place forever.

. with the One who is our Head, and we, His body.

. with the One Who longs to be one with us.

. with the One Who finds His resting place in us.

. He shall dwell in us forever.

. He shall dwell in His temple forever.

. He shall dwell in His city forever.

. He shall dwell in His bride forever.

. He shall go no more out.

. God in Messiah, head and body, forever.

. the intimate relationship of Messiah and His Ekklesia,

. Oneness.

. Worship.

. forever.
