Omer. day 44. beaten work…pure oil olive beaten for the light. keeping the lamps lit, never to go out. How? Part 2.

. Exodus 27:20. And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.

. Leviticus 24:2. Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

. the Lord instructs Mose in great detail about the lamps upon the candlestick. they were to burn continually. there is that word ‘continually’ again,

. Strongs #8548. tamid. the continual, perpetual, eternal, evermore, daily, perpetual, sacrifice

. tamid. the regular daily, evening and morning sacrifice.

. the lamps were never to go out.

. they were to burn continually by reason of the oil olive beaten for the light.

. it was the priests job to never let the lamp go out.

. how did the priests keep them from ever going out?

. they brought pure oil olive beaten for the light.

. they were to order it from the evening to the morning

. has His fire, ever gone out in you?

. have you ever lost the joy of your salvation?

. have you ever lost His light?

. have you ever ‘burnt out’?

. do we always have a good supply of pure oil olive beaten…..?

. beaten for the light?

. do we order the lamps evening and morning?

. now we understand the omer.
